The InnoView monitor arrived in a timely fashion, packaged to protect it. (Box inside a box.) The instructions were simple, addressed several setup options, and provided QR Codes for additional online information.

Connection consisted of attaching a power cable and plugging in the standard-to-mini HDMI cable between my laptop and the extra screen. It powered up and initially mirrored the same background screen as the laptop.

By using the Windows Settings for Display, it took only moments to designate the monitor as #2, and then select the Extend function, so my usable screen space was doubled. With a friend's guidance, I learned to "click and hold" the #2 screen icon in Settings to position it in the same relative location as the physical location on my computer desk. (The cord is not quite long enough to situate the InnoView monitor 'comfortably' on the right side of my laptop, due to where the "out ports" are on the left side.)

Once the setup was accomplished, my screen real estate was effectively doubled. When opening multiple applications, I can now "drag" them from one screen to the other, and size them to fit or scale them down. This is incredibly helpful for having Second Life open to a dance club venue, and using the Mixxx music / voice mixer application to run my virtual DJ sets, keeping an eye on both. It helps during my Virtual TableTop Role-Playing Games (VTTRPG), so I can view the "world" map and still have access to all my character stats on the other screen.

The best part is the clarity, the resolution, and the size -- which is only nominally smaller than my laptop screen. By placing the InnoView close to my laptop, it's a seamless movement of the cursor from one screen to the other. Another handy function is to be able to stand the InnoView on its narrow side in order to use its Portrait orientation to view documents as whole pages.

This monitor is versatile, sturdy, and meets all the requirements of an enhancement for your working or gaming needs. Get one for yourself; you'll be glad you did.

This monitor is the perfect companion to my macbook pro. Its size and thinness makes it light and easy to add to my bag with macbook. I am learning to code so I put instructional video on the monitor and I practice writting code on my macscreen. The settings on the mac allow me to use this monitor vertically. I am does not support that natively , but the macbook display settings lets me do it, if i need to. Mostly i just use it horizontally like in my picture. No glare on the screen. it works with JUST ONE CABLE connected to my Mac. You need to choose the correct USB-C port on the mac to get full brightness without plugging in the aditional power cord to the monitor. When the port does not provide enough power you will still be able to use it, but brightness will default to level"30" and that is fine for indoor use. With the correct port on the Mac, the monitor will be able to display full brightness(100). Its truely an economical and quality way to extend your screen real estate! You really don't need anything more expensive. i have tried others more expensive, and the quality is the same or less. and those monitors are heavier or harder to carry around.

I got it by accident looking for the ASUS zenbook but i kept it when i opened it and really liked it. First of all, i was very impressed by the care they took upon packaging it. It was nicely and securely wrapped and packaged in nice materials. The materials of the monitor and outer covering feel quite premium and sturdy with no loose buttons or panels.

When i turned it on it boots fast, all the connections i need are provided, it hooks right up and after 5 min set up it was workin. Gotta say the. Colors are nice and vivid and it integrates flawlessly.

It performs exactly as designed for its purpose and is low profile enough to share the laptop bag or my backpack. And doesnt take up a ton of desk space. Its a nice monitor than my desktop monitor! Its not flashy and stylish like the zenbook but its definitely functional and was a good steal on sale!

Have you ever purchased something hoping you wouldn’t LOVE it, so you could return it? because maybe you have a strong distain for purchasing anything over $100, but you knew it was a fantastic deal and it would make your life so much easier in the long run? 🙋🏼‍♀️. Yea, I can’t return something this perfect. AND all you need is the USB-C cord. You don’t have to plug it in and charge it first or mess with a bunch of uncool cords. Amazing product.

I needed a 3rd monitor and didn't want to completely re-arrange my desk or, more likely, purchase another one that could accommodate 3 monitors. This fits perfectly against my Laptop stand as a 3rd monitor. It also has the added benefit of being portable if I ever get to travel again. One of the biggest downsides of traveling for business, for me, was that i had to work from just my laptop screen. This will alleviate that.
It is heavier than I expected. I was expecting the weight of my Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, but it's certainly heavier than that. Not a big deal for me though. It's plug and play whether I plug it directly into the USB-C of my laptop or my docking station, it just works. I love that it's powered via the USB-C. I haven't used the included power adapter at all. The speakers are adequate, but I never use them as I have 3 better options to choose from on my setup.
To be fair, I haven't tried gaming or watching video on it. It's functioning as a 3rd monitor where I look at presenter view of PPT presentations or I compare .xls or .doc files, so I haven't really put it to the test. Also, I haven't had the chance to travel with it to see how it does in various lighting and desk surfaces. But, for what I used so far, it's perfect.
